Keymaster2021 Board of Directors Candidate Information
The 2021 Board of Directors nomination process is complete. As of 4 p.m. on Friday, February 5, 2021, the nomination period closed in accordance with the final adopted 2020-2021 Election Calendar. The applications have all been vetted and there are four (4) eligible candidates for the Board of Directors. Since there are also four (4) open positions on the Board, the Association will not mail any ballots and the nominated candidates shall be deemed to be duly elected to the Executive Board at the meeting at which the ballots would have been counted – on May 3, 2021.
The names of these individuals are listed below, in alphabetical order by last name:
- Brian Donahue
- Paul Perlstein
- Forrest Quinn
- Barry Rubinson
Upcoming events that were scheduled for the purposes of the election have been cancelled. These events include:
- Election Committee’s Orientation Meeting for the candidates on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at 10 a.m.
- Candidate Forum and Meet and Greet on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at 2 p.m.
Again, ballots will NOT be mailed this year. The Membership Meeting, however, where the Board members will officially be named, takes place on May 3, 2021 at 10 a.m. in the Delaware Room. A meeting notice and agenda will still be mailed to the Membership, accordingly.

KeymasterA special thanks to David Berman and his club buddy for the atmosphere of distrust and disinterest you created with your creating racial tension and a disunity that never before existed.
The divisiveness you were responsible for last summer created a system that out of 7,144 homes, only 4 wished to participate in its governance, only two of which are newbies.
We owe it all to you two.
And SCA, when you see NATIONAL open borders, increased gasoline prices, increased taxes, dependence on foreign oil, and the socialistic government we are now confronted with on a daily basis, remember these two PROMOTED ALL OF IT.

KeymasterI understand that there were actually 5 candidates for the board but one was denied the right to run by the association attorney. I do feel that since that denial made the election of the other 4 automatic, we should be told who it was and why that person was deemed not eligible to serve.
Keeping us all in the dark cast a dim light on the willingness of residents to put themselves up as volunteers to run for future boards in my opinion.
