The City Council recently voted in favor of Plan 1 of the two plan options for redrawing the city wards. In the next election voters in our Ward 2 will be voting only for who the Ward 2 representative will be.
The maps are contained in the attached link…[Read more]

Mr. Orth
I am pleased to see you raise this point. After reading the initial RJ article, I also have been wondering about the outcome of the federal investigation of Mr. Shaw and his loan business. I certainly support you in your efforts. I certainly feel no need to advise Mr. Shaw of anything. He represents this Ward and needs to be acc…[Read more]

Anyone with serious food allergies should always ask the server about problem ingredients. I know that one of the pasta dishes has shellfish. However, there are also other alternatives on the menu. I have discussed with them better identification of gluten free items and to have gluten free buns available for the smash burgers. They could als…[Read more]

Elizabeth, I apologize for my lateness in answering your very excellent question above. Let me address your question in two parts.
- Mr. Swenson and his small group will be monitoring performance of the restaurant to ensure that it is moving in the direction outlined by the business plan. This will include an analysis of how much the r…

Hi
All of the employees are hired by and work for WHG. WHG submits invoices to us for all of their expenses including the employees. If we wanted to see the information you have outlined above, we could request to see it but it is their record and not ours. Our Treasurer, Greg Swenson, is taking leadership on a small restaurant work group t…[Read more]

Mr. Orth:
Let me correct some of your facts. First, in your email to me you asked me for the invoices covering what we have paid to WHG to date and second you asked for the contracts of the four individuals you mentioned above. My response to you was to fill out a document request form for copies of the invoices you were requesting and since t…[Read more]

Thank you for saying that I am not one of the four board members that your report that Robert Stern says that we need to elect four board members who will reinstate some insanity to our board. I am so happy that you can well attest to my sanity.

The automatic license plate readers are tied into the valley law enforcement system and can be a useful apprehension tool for the police to catch stolen cars and others engaged in crime in the area. Less clear is its usefulness as a prevention tool.

Kudo’s to you and Dan for taking a leadership position in advocating for the passage of SB239. I would echo Rana’s caution above that we’re not done yet. I also encourage any one who has not filled out the petition to do so. This bill can still end up dying in the Assembly or if passed ended up not being signed by the Governor. Thank you Rana for sharing this link. I just registered my support for this bill. My reply to Mr. Orth.
How very silly his response is in saying that I control the day to day decisions and operations of our HOA. I would agree that if I was the Emperor and ruled by decree and edict that the situation would be very different. Maybe you need to realize that I am but one of six to seven board members. I would further add that Sun City Anthem had no part in the planning of this meeting as we had no knowledge of this event prior to the invitation being sent. My understanding is that the restaurant is on its own gas meter. Shawn Evans has also reported that he believes there are two water meters serving the area although they are not readily accessible. The biggest issue is that the restaurant does not have its own electric meter. The cost to rewire that end of the building in order to put all of t…[Read more]

I want to thank those of you who have expressed your opinions on garage sales.
