ALPR CAMERAS, follow up.
Drive into most neighborhoods with a Homeowners Association (HOA) and you are likely to see a few signs welcoming you, a strict speed limit sign, and maybe a pool or other amenities. You may be surprised to be welcomed by cameras on poles as well – not just any cameras, but License Plate Capture cameras that use motion d…[Read more]

Being in this (security industry) for over forty years I have experiences with all types of camera installations and this one can get rather pricey. Here is an example of one such installation, and it is not uncommon for an installation to cost this much being that it is an “outside” installation and is subject to environmental considerations.…[Read more]

With all that I have read so far, and I have followed closely with using history as my guide, I can only see two people that have the qualifications necessary to provide the community with some leadership. That to me is candidates #1 and #2.
As to the others, well, one wants to put solar everywhere he can, and the two haven’t told us what life…[Read more]

Thanks for the insight and updates regarding these candidates… We need to keep the lunacy to a minimum.
Covered parking? Maybe we could get a few mil from the government to do that?

OMG…isn’t it just a wonderful world where inuendo’s are in reality truths that don’t need verification. With due respect see the above from our board president:
“Shawn Evans has also reported that he believes there are two water meters serving the area although they are not readily accessible.” “Mr. Evans belives”…wow, how nice for us as t…[Read more]

When are they installing the gas, water, and electric meters?

Martin Winger replied to the topic Can You Fix Stupid? in the forum Where I Stand 5 months, 2 weeks ago
“then why wouldn’t they have installed separate utilities meters? Too much money? Pennywise and pound foolish? They already spent $500,000. And the contract calls for an accounting of costs. So, without meters, measurements become guess work for accountants and if the restaurant becomes profitable as many of you hope then there are profit splits w…[Read more]

Sir,
As a person who is both second generation electronic security (credentials available) and owner of a security company for over 5 years, you might be interested in knowing that you might get ready to spend tens of thousands of long term dollars for such an investment. I suggest that if you feel the need to have CCTV, you might find a…[Read more]

Seems our community pariah is in full swing now that he thinks he can take advantage of the proverbial “don’t waste a good crisis.” He actually found some ancient issue that he thinks in his sick mind to throw against the wall hoping it sticks.
Note too the amount of responders he gets as to his blogs….ZERO!
He also is supporting a person…[Read more]

I filled out the form:
I said: Why do we need another SCA restaurant when we have 40 neighborhood restaurants available? This is all within a 4 mile area.
Sorry to sound like a broken record, but will we ever get a “Triple Net Lease” to protect the community members? If we have lawyers on retainer, have them take an already made up form and…[Read more]

Uh Oh…
Here we go? As someone who has been THIS BUSINESS (Military, Industrial, and commercial CCTV) for over 45 years, be very careful about what and how you want to see and how you want to record the visuals. This can get very costly due to the environment and where the placement of the cameras need to be placed.
Please get all the ducks i…[Read more]

Is this the “new norm” to vet the members of our community before they serve? Who and why did this occur?
Does the SCA community coffers have so much money they need to find places to spend it?
It is not only disgusting, but appalling that the “cancel culture” has intruded into the SCA lifestyle.
Is it appropriate to let us homeowners how…[Read more]
