You are cordially invited to attend our first Mayoral Forum featuring the leading candidates running to be the next Mayor of Las Vegas.
Our forum will begin promptly at 6 p.m. with the doors opening at 5:30. The candidates will spend some time with the press just prior to the event, which will begin with statements from each candidate followed by a moderated discussion. Our moderators for the evening will be Dr. Sondra Cosgrove from Vote Nevada and Richard MacLean with Battle Born News.
We have chosen the East Las Vegas Library as our venue. The library is located at 2851 E Bonanza Rd, in Las Vegas.
Whether or not you currently reside in Las Vegas, the race for Mayor will be one of the most important in the upcoming primary election. With the Presidential Primary being held separately, this election could well decide who will run the largest city in Nevada. Should one of these candidates receive a plurality of the vote, they will become the Mayor without an election in November.
As our state and our communities suffer from an increase in homelessness, crime, and soaring energy costs there has never been a more important time to carefully choose those who run our cities. We hope you agree and that you will attend this forum to participate in this monumental decision.
