MARCIA KOSTERKA
KeymasterEver since the beginning of the human race, there has been a portion of the people who are given over to the evil of greed and power. It is like honey to a bear or sugar to a child. To some of them, there is no bridge too far or a stoop too low when there is no room for a caring heart, only what feeds the three people that matter only…me, myself, and I.

As we labor for stand-up character, while most hope to see,
Who of us can fully achieve it, with no exercise in futility.
What most of us do achieve, is better than what a few do not,
For lust of personal gain, escaping stains of greed you cannot. In everything some do or say, is a hidden agenda with a goal,
To gain a piece of the world, by selling a piece of their soul.
The measure of that person’s share, may be in material or power,
For a path laced with evil, to a pedestal in their Ivory Tower. No plateau can ever be enough, to slow their hunger for more.
Their portion is more inviting, if yours is added to their score.
To reach a goal of putting yours and theirs all in one stack,
It takes a lifetime of deceit, in perfecting their evil knack.“I am here for you, put me in charge of all that you own,
And I will appease you for a time, by throwing you a bone”.
“Trust me, I know what I’m doing, believe it when I say”,
Is really a very true statement, when you look at it either way.The power of authority and persuasion, is a tool of their trade,
To accomplish their wishes, while leaving all others betrayed.
Their conscience never suffers, for a plan conceived in the dark,
People are seen as fish in the sea, to harvest for a hungry shark. The intent of these selfish people, is not always known fully,
But, all they really are, is no more than a schoolyard bully.
They feel that whatever the means they use, it will be just fine,
With a mindset of, “What’s mine is mine and what’s yours is mine”.April 28, 2017 at 5:59 pm #3582Anonymous
InactiveCaptain Ron is a very insightful man. He has hit the nail on the head as regards our incompetent Board of Directors. Good for you, Ron.
