As President of the SCA Entertainment Club I want to thank the wonderful audience Friday night that welcomed Randal Keith and his production of “A Tribute to Robert Goulet: Broadway and Beyond”.  It was truly a magical evening of entertainment and ended with an almost full Freedom Hall audience standing and cheering.  In between songs, Randal gave us surprising glimpses of Mr. Goulet’s life along with  videos and still photographs on a large screen.  And, in the theatre’s mantra of THE SHOW MUST GO ON, pianist Philip Fortenberry was absent due to an emergency in the family as was one of The Phat Pack who had a death in his family.  As we were told, it was a very bad week for The Phat Pack.  However, Randall enlisted the help of Mr. Goulet’s accompanist for the show.  She is a truly remarkable pianist.

I want to personally thank both Rana and Marcia especially for all of their endless help to put this show on for you, the residents of SCA.  They were  tireless in their efforts to make a success of our first show of the year.  Stay tuned for the rest of our season.  It’s not too late to join the Entertainment Club.  Simply go to our website SCAEC.org and follow the directions.  Don’t miss the rest of our season at discounted prices.

We were happy to reintroduce our Meet and Greet.  A large portion of the audience joined us after the show  and enjoyed coffee and pastries and mingling with their friends along with the performers.  I was pleased to hear so many rave reviews about the show and how everyone looked forward to our next production in May.

    Patsy
