It is with extreme sadness that we send heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Charlie Wong.

Charlie was an icon in the strongest sense of the word, as a leader of our Asian community, the International Culture Club (ICCC) and to all who knew him.  I have known Charlie for almost all of the 17 years I have lived in SCA and cannot remember ever seeing him without a smile on his face and warm greeting for everyone who crossed his path.

Sadly Charlie passed away after a lengthy stay at St. Rose January 14th from complications of Covid 19, to say that he will be missed by all who knew him would be putting it mildly. Small in stature, Charlie Wong was a giant of a man to those of us who were lucky enough to be called his friend.

I also agree that Charlie was a positive force in our community.  We will all miss his presence.

Charlie Wong was a super individual and a patriot.

He contributed so much to our SCA community, a very caring individual with a big heart.   He will leave a big void in our community.  God Bless his soul.

What a very sad day for SCA and especially those of us who knew him personally.  I always felt better when I saw Charlie as he always had a smile on his face and a kind word.  Charlie, we will all miss you….I will miss you.  My sincerest sympathy to his wife and family.  Rest in peace Charlie
