The following bulletin was sent out to homeowners regarding the homeowners’ vote to allow the board to go forward against Pulte on the construction defects regarding Liberty Center.
Dear Unit Owner,
In regards to the recent construction defect vote on the Liberty Center, NRS 116 instructed the Board to seek a majority of votes allotted to confirm the Board’s decision to file Liberty Center Construction Defect matter. The Association sought 3,573 yes votes. The results are as follows:
YES votes = 3470
NO votes = 294
Ballots returned without verifiable address and not counted = 89
Duplicate ballots not counted = 2
Invalid ballots not counted = 4
Ballots returned by USPS as un-deliverable and not counted = 29
Thank you to all that participated in this ballot measure. Credit to all residents that participated in the Association’s largest ballot count received to date.
Management has noticed a Board of Directors’ Executive Session on January 9, 2017 for the Board to meet with General Counsel and the Construction Defect Attorney to consider the options available to the Association under the law.
