Remembering 9/11
As I always do on this day each year I reflect back to watching my small TV as I got ready for work. Suddenly, not sure of what I was seeing was real, I saw those two planes fly into those two magnificent buildings. I then ran to flip channels and flip channels of the news, I stood mortified at the loses of so many.
I’m sure we all know exactly where we were and what we were doing at that moment.
On a recent trip to New York City we walked the memorial and said a silent prayer over the names listed… I will never forget the feeling that gave me, I’m sure most of you will never forget that day either. May God rest their souls.
