For those of you who have not read the G2G proposed lease, I respectfully suggest you go to http://www.sca_hoa.org and check out the board book. Scan to the bottom and read it.The draft Board Book for the August 23, 2018 board meeting is online.  Click BOD Book.

I don’t know how many of the SCA residents take time to review the board book prior to meetings but I hope you will go onto the SCA-HOA web site and Scan down to the elements for the lease of the G2G lease, I promise you will be in for a shock, all that is missing is the promise that we will stand by with toilet bidet’ service when they are done in the rest room….  I cannot fathom what our board was thinking when this was put together, it is one thing to want a restaurant, it is another to totally “give away the farm”…

    For example:

SCA charges $6 per for the use of table cloths, (we don’t know what, as a caterer G2G will charge but SCA is doing the laundry gratis per the lease)  let’s say your daughter is getting married and you hire G2G to cater the wedding at Anthem Center, you pay (for argument sake) $50 per head for 200 guests to G2G, they will charge for everything including table cloths and set-up, take down etc…. BUT in the lease agreement,  SCA IS PAYING to set up and take down the room for them, SAY WHAT, WHY???

The very idea that ANY company who is “the caterer for an event” and is charging the client using the venue for all things associated for that event, is then “comped’ by their landlord, (SCA) for the room set-up, linen service, and $34,000 toward entertainment is outrageous. What is SCA getting out of this other than the “pleasure” of having a place to eat in Anthem Center.. Do we really want one so bad that we are willing to lay on the floor and beg these people to open a venue here, because that is what it seems like we are doing? Who the heck wrote this agreement?

Example: SCA is paying for 6 TVs AND the NFL sports package… Check out what Direct TV charges for commercial companies to have the NFL package and since SCA is getting no part of the bar income why is SCA paying for the NFL games anyway????

And what happened to loyalty, The Cassidy Law firm has advertised on the back cover of the Spirit for years, now they are kicked to the curb because SCA is to give 1 year FREE ad for the restaurant? What’s up with that?

Don’t even talk to me about the entertainment allowance I will go ballistic on you the lease calls for $34,000 allowance for that too  Why????!
