Please be aware of your surroundings at all times. It has even reported that a resident, while out for her morning walk about 6:00 a.m 8/11 in Black Mountain Village noticed a black car pull up behind her. She didn’t pay much attention until a black man pointed a gun at her and made he turn over her cell phone and key to her home. She ran to the closest house and immediately called the police, but by then the thief had gone.
PLEASE carry mace or some sort of alarm with you if you can.
