Sweet 16 Awards!

Congratulations to everyone at The Vegas Voice for its North American Mature Publishers Association (NAMPA) award honors last week. NAMPA is the largest, and most prestigious senior publication association in the United States.

The Sun City Anthem media company received 16 awards including 1^st place honors its various columns, seniors issues, editorials, profile and once again, General Excellence.

Rana Goodman received 1^st Place for her “Topical Article” on guardianship problems facing seniors.

Publisher Dan Roberts likewise received 1^st place honors for his “Senior Scams Issues,” Editorial and “Personal Essay” when he wrote about his 10 year anniversary with his PILL (partner in love & life) Rana Goodman.

Also, a shout-out congratulations to Sun City Anthem resident Howard Galin for his 1^st place Happy Gardens  monthly columns.

Besides the individual writing awards, The Vegas Voice was recognized for its front pages and overall graphics (with another shout out, this time to Ray Sarbacker).

Last, but not least, The Vegas Voice was awarded “Senior Publication of the Year.” The judges, in noting The Vegas Voice tag line (for your Health, Wealth & Good Times) held, “That goal has definitely been reached, maybe even exceeded.”
