KeymasterOur president, Carol, teased us a couple days ago by telling us a Las Vegas resident entertainer was stepping out to help the Foundation Assisting Seniors. It’s Zowie Bowie! They’ve posted a fun idea, as you’ll see below. We’re sure many of you have a little entertainer within YOU! Grab that hairbrush “microphone” or vacuum cleaner pipe and put on a show! Details provided by Zowie Bowie:
Hello friends… praying you all are doing well and hanging in there. As you may have seen, many of our entertainer friends have been doing awesome online shows from their homes. (Which is great!!). However… our family came up with an idea that not only includes everyone (including non-musicians) but more importantly, helps our community get through these difficult times.
We are challenging our friends to create your own Music Video starring you and family members in or around your home only utilizing items found in the house. You can really sing or lip sinc to your favorite song. Then put a link to your favorite local charity or organization here in Las Vegas helping those in need in the body of your post so all donations go directly to them. Our first attempt at our own family music video will be posted this Saturday night at 8pm. If you had fun watching it, please make a donation to the wonderful people helping our local seniors at this link: Foundationassistingseniors.org/ . Hope you all are staying safe and healthy…. now go have some fun helping others right from your own Living Room!! We nominate Travis Cloer, Ken Henderson, Vin A., Michele Rothstein and John Di Domenico, Adam Steck, Seth Yudof, Mercedes Mix, Mark Alan Shaffer, Scott Bolan, Ellen Alves Wynn, And everyone associated with Zowie Bowie!!! #MusicVideos4Vegas
We can’t wait to see the talent that lies within our community. Stay safe, healthy, but by all means, have some fun!
