District F, Vote Clark County Commission

SCA is in District F, You Can Vote for

Clark County Commissioner in that district!

For those of us who have been told that we can only vote for Henderson office candidates, that is not quite true. Clark County is the county we, Las Vegas and Henderson residents live in, and if your home is in District F which includes parts of Henderson, you too can vote for your choice.

One candidate currently running for Clark County Commission (District F) happens to be a lady by the name of Becky Harris, please let me tell you something about her.

When Dan Roberts, publisher of The Vegas Voice, and I were constantly going to Carson City attempting to get various bills dealing with Guardianship passed.  We had two heroes in the legislature helping us to make sure those bills, not only “hit the floor” but also passed.

Those heroes were Assembly woman Victoria Seaman and Senator Becky Harris. One bill championed by Senator Harris was the nomination of guardianship bill.

For those of you new to our city that may not be familiar with the nomination form, what makes it so important is the fact that the bill notes our choice must be honored by the Family court.

If readers wish to see the form in detail, it can be found on both the Secretary of State’s web site and also on TheVegasVoice.net for this reason and many others Dan and I have endorsed Becky Harris for the Clark County Commission.
