KeymasterPRESIDENT REPORT 6/24/20
Your new board has some interesting plans for the community that we think you will be quite pleased with and we encourage any of you to reach out to us at any time with questions and/comments.
Our treasurer, Forrest Quinn CPA and VP Richard Pope CPA will be completing the work with our auditors to finish the work from 2019 as it well as taking care of our tax status for 2019.
We will be working on the restaurant survey in the hopes that, in the near future our state will be free of Covid 19 which has held us all prisoner for so long. However, while working on the survey and any subsequent plans that the community decides on for that space, we intend to have the space cleaned and freshened so that it can be a “drop in area” where we can enjoy a wonderful view, maybe a bottle of wine from home and good company.
Clubs will be able to reserve it for a “meet and greet” or perhaps a “TGIF” gathering. The kitchen of course will be closed but the board agreed that the space and the view was just too nice to waste as we try to get back to living our lives.
Another plan we have been talking about is making better use of our resident experts, for example, CPAs, contractors, lawyers, engineers and so on that may be interested in sharing their expertise with us as projects come up.
This way, by consulting with people who have “been there/done that” we can flush out what is feasible and what is not before going to the expense of hiring outside experts to bring that idea to fruition.
Every member of your board agreed that we would like our terms on the board to be as transparent as possible. We encourage residents to reach out to us any time, you have our word that you will always receive a response.
