On May 23, 2022 Life Long Learning will host the documentary film, The Guardian at 4:30 pm in the Delaware Room of Anthem Center, followed by a Guardianship Seminar and Q&A at 6:30 pm, the featured speaker will be Rana Goodman who will also have Guardianship Nomination forms available.This documentary was filmed in Las Vegas and features many of the victims that were taken into unwanted guardianship against their will and without the knowledge of their families.
Some of the outrageous laws were changed while the film was being made and hopefully more will follow with the up-coming legislative session. Rana and several of the principal parties who have worked on guardianship reform for the past several years are currently drafting more changes to present to the Nevada legislature in the up-coming session.
