Here is an alphabetical list of the 2017 candidates for election this year.
Two are incumbents and are guaranteed to give us more of the same old, same old which is tantamount to treating homeowners as nothing more than their personal bank account. Candidate Forrest Quinn, was on the Finance Committee and has spoken out about many poor financial decisions made by this present board as well as previous boards.
Perhaps some of our readers can shed some light on the other new faces who are running and their political leanings. The hard lesson we have learned in the past is election promises are mostly empty and lies often prevail.February 11, 2017 at 6:12 pm #3261Martin WingerParticipant
Just as reference, I’d like to see a resume as in past times, especially since the article I saw from Jim Mayfield.February 11, 2017 at 7:00 pm #3262
Anthem Today will certainly post any resume that is sent to us. I too, saw that very revealing article that Jim Mayfield sent out. He seems to be the ONLY BOD member who has the moxie to “tell it like it is”. The fact that members of the current BOD often systematically cut him out of private little secret meetings does not say much about how they run things. Words like “lack of integrity and honesty” have been noted by many homeowners in conversations when describing some of the shortcomings of this BOD as well as previous ones. I have been maintaining for some time that when you mix ineptness, lack of common sense, and stupidity with sheer unadulterated arrogance, that is clearly a recipe for impending disaster. The bottom line is, it is the homeowners who have had to consistently pay for these disasters.February 15, 2017 at 1:41 am #3312
