I attended the traffic safety program yesterday and must say it was a very pleasant surprise. Hosted by our council woman, Monica Larson and Henderson chief of police Reggie Rader..
Questions from the residents were invited and had no restrictions, i.e. time limits, number of times you could comment or ask questions or anything else. This resulted in many, many comments and questions, all responded to in depth.
The best response to questions regarding speeding cars along Anthem Parkway that continually seem to view the corner of Wild Iris and Solara Moon as the entry start for Mario Andretti’s speedway. Monica Larson, said that the city is considering several options including a “round-about,” 4 way stop signs and some other options. Since Ms. Larson lives in Inspirada, she is well aware of the problem, in fact, she was one of the ladies standing on Anthem Parkway collecting petition signatures insisting the City fix that problem.
I cannot thank Monica enough for being such a determined and outspoken representative for us, as well as Chief Rader vowing to do all he can to keep our community safe.
