I think it was mentioned at the restaurant meeting that separate metering was going to be too expensive. This can be true, depending on how Anthem Center was constructed. However, I wondering if they have looked into submetering instead? Sensors are installed at key electrical connection points and send info to an in-house meter, that has nothing to do with NV Energy. It’s more flexible, and way cheaper that trying to “split” a conjoined electrical system . Then the landlord bills the tenant for electricity, not the utility company. I have seen many commercial landlords go with this option, when they are unable to electrically isolate tenant space.
