I thoroughly agree with you. I have been contributing to them for years because of the wonderful work they do for our first responders and vets, particularly disabled vets.
As someone who worked in the World Trade Center in the 1970’s, the destruction and loss of life on 9/11 had a horrible effect on me. The Tunnel to Towers Foundation is in the memory of Steven Sillers, a New York firefighter who ran through the Battery Tunnel, in full gear to be with his unit. He was killed in the collapse of the Towers, along with 342 other fire fighters. His brother started the foundation in his memory.
With all the good they have done, why would NLV deny them the use of the land?
